TaoBao Haul & Review Part 2

Hi guys, I'm back with part 2 of my taobao haul! This one will be the review of the bags I got. ^___^ I'll be posting ones of the shoes and miscellaneous things I also got in the future, so stay tuned.

TaoBao Haul & Review Part 1 & Updates

Hi guys! I know I haven't posted for a while, but I've been really busy with school and work (ok and maybe playing League too...)

Last month, my parents went back to China for a month so I was living by myself. ;^; so lonely.. 

Anyway, I asked my parents to buy me things on TaoBao so they can bring it back!

For those who don't know what TaoBao is, it's like the Chinese Aliexpress/Alibaba/eBay. They only ship in China, but there are TaoBao buying services who will help you get your items to where you are. TaoBao has a larger selection compared to eBay in my opinion and for a cheaper price.

I actually bought a lot of things, but so far I'm just going to show you what I bought in clothing. Enjoy!

A Haul: It's like I came home to my birthday!

SO I'M REALLY EXCITED. YOU GUYS HAVE NO IDEA. I OPENED THE DOOR AND WAS LIKE, "MOM I'M HOME!" AND THEN I FOUND PACKAGES ON OUR SHOE RACK AND I KNEW THOSE WERE THE PACKAGES I ORDERED ONLINE! :')

PAX Prime Seattle!

About 3-4 days of planning to go to PAX prime on Sunday me and 4 other friends drove down to Seattle for the event! I'll admit I'm not a hardcore gamer, I just like to play League to pass time and watch the games. Here's an album load of photos! :)

A Haul, an EOTD, and a sweater?? Past month condensed into one!

Hi readers! Okay so I haven't posted for a while and currently as I am writing this it is 8:40 PM and I have work at 6:30 AM the next day... sooo... Happy BC day guys!?

Part 1: Haul
So the past month I haven't been shopping much at the mall. However I have been making some purchases online and I bought some cosmetics from f2plus1.
Also I was able to get some Victoria's Secret mists for $6 each. ^___^ Yay for airport employees sale! :D And also there was a sale at Shoppers Drug Mart so I had to pick up another tube of my favourite mascara and some eyeshadows. ^_^ Basically I've been spending my money on food and hauling beauty products for the past month...

Quick Update!

Hey guys! It's been a while since I've written a post. I've been so busy with work and I've also been trying to get more shifts too. ^___^ I haven't gotten the time to write anything.
I've accumulated a lot of korean cosmetics and etc over the past month and i wanted to share my thoughts and opinion about them! D: No time so... ;_; I'll try to update you guys on the products soon. eep

New Makeup/Beauty Drawer!

  

Once again, I apologize for my lack of posting :( I haven't been going out much so there isn't much OOTDs. As well as I'm either working or at home gaming (so I'm just in my PJs most of the time, I have no friends so I don't go out let's be honest now everyone) But anyway!... I went out with my parents on Wednesday and we went to Ikea to get some food (my dad loves their fries and gravy) and walked around after. We ended up leaving Ikea and buying a 6 drawer storage with a mirror attached. 

When you flip the mirror top open, you'll see my very few accessories LOL. (I'm a cross jewellery hoarder) 

In the first drawer I just placed my curler, straightener and some hair ties. I'm probably going to keep it as a hair related drawer. ^_^  

The small drawer underneath I just placed my usual makeup and some random makeup. (I actually don't even use the eyeshadow and lipstick often that's displayed in the photo haha..) 

Next the bigger storage drawer underneath I placed my boxes of My Beauty Diary masks, beauty samples, a box of hairdye and some makeup wipes. I mainly store anything that's in a box in there. ^___^

Anyway, I haven't filled up the other compartments yet but the drawer is really handy. It's right beside my desk so it's easily accessible when I'm doing my makeup. Hoping I could do like a room tour or something once I get everything nice and organized (which is going to take a year I'm not even kidding)

Cleaned out my closet!

I threw out so many clothes. I had so many colourful racerback tanktops that I bought years ago and I never wore them and they just sat in my drawer. Now that summers rolling through, I have my dresses and tank tops easily accessible. :D I have never seen that area of my room so clean, normally it's clutter with clothes and bags on the ground. (I'm sure I'm going to mess it up sooner or later though) I still need to clean the left side of my closet though, coughhidemyintimates. I'm still planning on renovating my closet so I'll can put drawers inside and then maybe I can get rid of my current one so I'll have more space in my room. 

Also I've been busy with work, no outfits really since I've only been going to work in the dress code and I haven't found days where I can put up outfits. But hi, I'm just trying on the uniform that work gave me. The blouse is a little too big for me but the skirt fits my waist really well, I just need to hem it a little shorter. ^_^ I kinda look like I'm wearing a kimono or something???!? O_O  

Oh yeah and League of Legends Summer Split Championship Series is back! YESSSSSS. I have no idea what team to root for anymore. CLG and Dig game today was really intense haha okay enough nerding out. :P

Sorry I've been a little MIA kinda, (I do try my best to update every other day or something like that) I've been really busy. Parents are making me go refrigerator hunting with them and I've been trying to catch up with some of my high school friends when I have the time.

Quick Quick OOTD & Haul

Okay generally I don't find anything to buy at Value Village clothing wise because I don't know! I don't find many clothing items appealing there. But I started going through the male section and looking at their t-shirts and I found a Crooks & Castles t-shirt for $1.99 and a University of Southern California t-shirt for $3.99. I'm planning to cut these so I'll have some tank tops to wear for the summer. :D Also found a H&M beige blazer for $7.99. :) I think I might be getting obsessed with going to the thrift store... oh my.

Review: Colour B4 Extra

So I was at the hair dying section at London drugs since I've been wanting to dye my hair to a medium ish brown for the longest time. My problem is is that I dyed my hair black in December. Now using a brown hair dye over hair dyed black is not going to work. (I've tried it turned out horrible) I found this colour stripper called Colour B4 in the hair dye aisle and it looked really interesting! I've never seen it before and it also stated that you can make your hair lighter without bleach. Interested, I bought a box for $12.99. 

    

The example on the box of course is kinda too ridiculous. I know my hair won't turn out that brown. 

My hair before using Colour B4 was black with blonde peekaboos.

Taken by my bedroom window, you can see my hair is pretty dark. But when it's under direct sunlight it's a dark brown with a little bit of red. 

After using Colour B4 my hair is visibly brown! 

Taken with the bright light in the bathroom you can see that my hair is brown! It's crazy I didn't expect that it would turn that brown. You can tell by my ends that it's most definitely brown. 

Summary: Colour B4 worked better than I expected. It turned my hair really brown and I thought it wouldn't have worked at all! I haven't seen my hair in this colour for two years! I am very happy with the result. Time to colour over this and get rid of the blonde now haha ;)

Old Male Clothes! And other things

 

So I was cleaning out my closet because I was thinking of redoing the organization and stuff and I found some... interesting things.

I found a PS2!! in an Asus laptop box...??? That was really random and I literally went WTF with surprise and excitement because I always wanted a PS2 so I could play FFX-2 HAHAHA. Actually I really wanted to play DDR with it too when I was younger. DDR Extreme2 had so many amazing songs, okay too much nostalgia hehe. +_____+

I also found a HUGE bag of clothes that belonged to my brother and my cousin. Before deciding I was going to donate I wanted to look through the bag to see what I could find. I found a lot of Gap clothes. Of course they're all over-sized but I'm hoping I'll be able to find a way to make it work. Maybe a little sewing project. Turn a couple of pullovers into some comfy oversized cardigans too. :)

Oh yeah found this decade old looking sweater that has UBC BIOLOGY stitching on it. I don't go to UBC but I can pretend I do now haha. This is going to be my new lounging sweater. so big and warm, great for those sneaky summer nights. ;)

Locked myself at home for the whole day watching the final season of The Office. I absolutely l o v e that show. Teared up at a couple of parts but day well spent. :)
