Quick Quick OOTD & Haul

Okay generally I don't find anything to buy at Value Village clothing wise because I don't know! I don't find many clothing items appealing there. But I started going through the male section and looking at their t-shirts and I found a Crooks & Castles t-shirt for $1.99 and a University of Southern California t-shirt for $3.99. I'm planning to cut these so I'll have some tank tops to wear for the summer. :D Also found a H&M beige blazer for $7.99. :) I think I might be getting obsessed with going to the thrift store... oh my.

Review: Colour B4 Extra

So I was at the hair dying section at London drugs since I've been wanting to dye my hair to a medium ish brown for the longest time. My problem is is that I dyed my hair black in December. Now using a brown hair dye over hair dyed black is not going to work. (I've tried it turned out horrible) I found this colour stripper called Colour B4 in the hair dye aisle and it looked really interesting! I've never seen it before and it also stated that you can make your hair lighter without bleach. Interested, I bought a box for $12.99. 

    

The example on the box of course is kinda too ridiculous. I know my hair won't turn out that brown. 

My hair before using Colour B4 was black with blonde peekaboos.

Taken by my bedroom window, you can see my hair is pretty dark. But when it's under direct sunlight it's a dark brown with a little bit of red. 

After using Colour B4 my hair is visibly brown! 

Taken with the bright light in the bathroom you can see that my hair is brown! It's crazy I didn't expect that it would turn that brown. You can tell by my ends that it's most definitely brown. 

Summary: Colour B4 worked better than I expected. It turned my hair really brown and I thought it wouldn't have worked at all! I haven't seen my hair in this colour for two years! I am very happy with the result. Time to colour over this and get rid of the blonde now haha ;)

Old Male Clothes! And other things

 

So I was cleaning out my closet because I was thinking of redoing the organization and stuff and I found some... interesting things.

I found a PS2!! in an Asus laptop box...??? That was really random and I literally went WTF with surprise and excitement because I always wanted a PS2 so I could play FFX-2 HAHAHA. Actually I really wanted to play DDR with it too when I was younger. DDR Extreme2 had so many amazing songs, okay too much nostalgia hehe. +_____+

I also found a HUGE bag of clothes that belonged to my brother and my cousin. Before deciding I was going to donate I wanted to look through the bag to see what I could find. I found a lot of Gap clothes. Of course they're all over-sized but I'm hoping I'll be able to find a way to make it work. Maybe a little sewing project. Turn a couple of pullovers into some comfy oversized cardigans too. :)

Oh yeah found this decade old looking sweater that has UBC BIOLOGY stitching on it. I don't go to UBC but I can pretend I do now haha. This is going to be my new lounging sweater. so big and warm, great for those sneaky summer nights. ;)

Locked myself at home for the whole day watching the final season of The Office. I absolutely l o v e that show. Teared up at a couple of parts but day well spent. :)

Amazing Value Village Steals!

Oh no, Value Village didn't steal from me, haaa no! It's the other way around, I'm getting great steals from Value Village! Yesterday I was with Candy and we were really bored, we had nothing to do since all our other friends had something to do on a Friday night. We decided to go grab some dinner and then just out of no where she said, "let's go thrift shopping." What what what what what what. *Commence Thift Store - Macklemore* The first area we checked was the shoe section. Now I have small feet, I'm a size 5 so my selection is very limited. I saw a pair of boots and I thought, "Oh my God... could this be a size 5!?" Turned the shoe around and nope, it was a size 37. Disappointed, I kept looking hoping I was able to find something for myself soon. Candy though, found a pair of nude pumps from Aldo for only $13! But okay less talking! I found a pair of these booties!

   

I was thinking of matching these with a light coloured pair of jeans or maybe some tights. But I really like the chunky heel to add some height for me :P And these babies were only $10! Later went to the bag area, hoping that maybe some crazy lady gave up an authentic Louis Vuitton bag or something haha. Instead I found a bag that looked very similar to a Balenciaga bag. *There was also a photocopy of cremation papers in there? creeeepy...* But I got this bag for $13, not bad right?

 

I usually never find anything at Value Village or thrift shops in general but this is probably the best find I've gotten from there so far.
